The people
L’azienda
Vinnovative arises in 2011, as a brainchild of Alessandro Gallici e Franco Canciani; the purpose was to help wineries and wine companies to penetrate some foreign markets, or improve the performance in specific geographic areas.
Vinnovative’s innovative contribution allows Italian wineries to chase the best partners, as much as find ideal suppliers for major customers located around the world.
Historically, Gallici and Canciani’s operation areas are North America, British area, Asia and Oceania, where Vinnovative takes care of sales and marketing for 65+ Italian wineries of different sizes.
European, Vinnovative’s presence is limited to specific Countries such as Finland.
Mission
Vinnovative has a 360 degrees operation philosophy, touching any aspect of the modern wine business:
- pinpointing the best customer for any Italian producer;
- spotting the right product(s) following request of major International wine dealers;
- Characterizing the best sensorial profile, modifying (if needed) the original product;
- Characterizing the packaging following requests and needs of target customers and Countries;
- Controlling labels compliance (Italian and Foreign laws)
- Logistic and bureaucratic control
- Administrative control
- Post-sales feedback, in-loco promotion
The people
Alessandro Gallici
Enologist by train, achieved a deep experience working in primary wineries and Stock corp.
Experienced in formulating innovative products, since 2003 is recognised ‘iconic winemaker’ by some key players in the British and American wine and spirits markets.
Gallici signs an extensive wine portfolio which Vinnovative distributes in several wine markets.
Alessandro Gallici takes care of R&D of Vinnovative whole portfolio and follows up Asian and British wine markets.
He fluently speaks English.
Franco Canciani
Canciani has a Ph.D in Food Science and Technologies (achieved through works and stages in Italy and France, Belgium and Germany).
Has achieved experiences in several agricultural and wine companies, and in the 90’s run a wine laboratory which consulted 120+ small and medium-sized wineries.
2000 through 2011 has covered the role of S&M director for a major, local winery and in 2011 founded Vinnovative along with Alessandro Gallici.
Takes care of the logistic, administrative and label compliance aspects and follows up North American, Finnish and British markets.
He speaks English, German, French and Spanish.
